Outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan few days to bidding Aso-Rock goodbye has signed two new bills into law.They are the Violence against persons (prohibition) act 2015 and the immigration act 2015

Buruji Kashamu under house arrest

PDP Senator elect Buruji Kashamu has been placed under house arrest by officials of the NDLEA at his Lekki residence pending his extradition to the USA on drug related charges going as far back as the 1990's, Meanwhile, he has denied planning to cross-over to the APC.
